During this course students will review the major physical-chemical mechanisms responsible for removal of suspended particles from water by filtration. Additionally, students are introduced to the concepts, chemicals, equipment, facilities, processes, and operation of the filtration process as practiced in water treatment plants. This course is suitable for entry-level operators.
